  My favorite website, although it is not a website related only to my area of study, it is a site that since I remember has always helped me a lot in the academic field, they may always say that it is not very reliable or that it is always the fastest and easiest option, but I believe that there is no student or person with internet access who has never used Wikipedia, even in one of the presidential debates cited this page!  The truth is that I feel it was very difficult to choose what to study, however my focus was always clear, something in which I can help people. There are many ways to help people, that is one of the things that made it more difficult for me to make a decision, however as I always liked science and all the information about the world around us that can give us, I decided something that could deal directly with people, I went for chemistry and pharmacy because I feel that medicines and everything that can relieve some kind of pain that we feel helps a lot to improve our quality of life, but how could I change the world and there are so many chemical formulas and natural products that help us live better?   My favorite meal is spaghetti with avocado, this meal consists of an incredible mixture of a plate of white spaghetti with a ground avocado (half an avocado if it is very big). To prepare it you have to boil about 4 liters of water in a pot and take advantage of adding salt to taste, seasonings to flavor it, for example garlic powder or ground basil and depending on the taste of each person, oil. then put a packet of spaghetti, let it boil for a few minutes and between that grind the avocado in the dish and add salt and then pour the spaghetti on top and stir well. I like this meal a lot because I love spaghetti and I love avocado and eating them together is the best combination in the world, besides avocado is rich in healthy fats and spagetis are a good source of carbohydrates.

 My favourite piece of technology is my mobile phone as it has a lot of functions and helps me to do a lot of things, I can call my grandmother once a week, communicate with people I can't be with physically to know how they are, my friends send me memes that make me laugh on social networks, it helps me when I need things that I don't have at hand, for example torch, calculator, calendar, among other things, calendar, among other things and also through this device I can access the internet despite not having a laptop at hand and access a lot of useful information on search engines like Google that provide me with information that can help me for things at the university, also serves me to distract me with games and play both alone and with friends, for all that I think it is a very useful device and i  recommend it for all the functions it can do.

 When I was a child my idea of what I wanted to be in the future was not very clear, but I was interested in being a football player, a car pilot, an aeroplane pilot or any profession that was exciting.  When I was in secondary school I still didn't have a clear idea about it, but I was attracted to careers such as electrical engineering, because it was quite employable and I liked physics, but I realised that I was afraid of electricity. I was also interested in studying something in the health field because I was interested in helping people because the Chilean health system is really bad. My first choice was medicine, but when I received my PDT score I realised that it was only enough to study outside of Santiago and I didn't have the resources and the desire to leave my city.  After reviewing my options I was between studying obstetrics, nursing or chemistry and pharmacy.   Matías Vásquez was born in Santiago of Chile in 2002, he studied in 4 schools, in some cases due to changes of house and in others due to bad behaviour. He finally graduated from the Arturo Alessandri Palma municipal high school in Providencia.  He started studying chemistry and pharmacy at the University of Chile in 2021 and is actually in his second year. Regarding his family and place of origin, he lived until he was 10 years old in Quinta Normal with his grandmother, his mother and his aunt. Then he went to live in Ñuñoa until he was 17 years old with his mother, stepfather and little sister. After that he returned to Quinta Normal with his whole family. Matías' favourite hobbies are going out with his friends, listening to music and playing football.
